I thought the name "Aftercooler" was the name of a water-to-air intercooler made by Vortech - not just a generic name for all water-to-air intercoolers.


Intercooler uses air from outside to cool the compressed air.

Most Aftercooler's use water and a separate radiator to cool the compressed air.

They both do the same thing, it's just how they cool the charge is what's different.
