Check the car and driver archives. They had an article on the rules governing filing a lemon law suit. I think it was in ther last year. Good luck. BMW sucks for taking care of obvoius things they should be responsible for, let alone taking a whole car back.

Well we all know about the recurring problems this car has, and for the millionth time I am sick of the fuel sender unit going bad, the wheels looking like crap, computer glitches, and the rear wiper leakage!
Does anybody know the guy who had an Audi and had it qualify for a lemon because of the fuel gauge/sender unit problem? I wanna do the same with this car..
I'm not gonna even call the dealer again to try and fix it.
What do you guys think? Should I call it a lemon and sue BMW?
