Cost no object you could go Dinan stage 2 supercharger with new clutch and 400HP. There is a guy selling his car named Scott who has this setup. Maybe he would be willing to just sell the components to you? Scroll down the page and look for an M Coupe for sale with 400HP. As for your suspension you may need to upgrade that as well but depending on what kind of driving it may not be necessary. RMS offers a stage 2 kit with an aftercooler and probably more power than the Dinan setup. They can even lower the compression of your motor and add forged pistons etc. I am not sure if the Diff. will hold up to this kind of power though, you would have to talk to an expert. The Active Autowerk turbo does sound appealing too. I can't really tell you which system is better. They both make huge amounts of power but they do so very differently. Some may say turbos have lag but the centrifugal superchargers used in these kits do not make full boost until very late in the RPM range so a properly tuned turbo setup may be the way to go (cost no object).
Engine swap is not an option and I don't think it is worth it for only 308 hp. If money is not an issue which do you think is better, turbo or SC? I thought the turbo kits were hard for daily driving. In either case (SC or TC) will i need to upgrade the clutch? What other parts might I need to upgrade? I know on AA site they talk about upgrading the rear diff, suspension, etc. is that really needed? The car has suspension already, just worried about breaking engine and tranny parts.
