Personally, I'd take that 7k and buy a '01 coupe.

The 2000 "///M coupe" is not bringing anymore than about $35K ... max. So, a more realistic number would be at least $12K to $15K by the time you get a new '01 Coupe out the door.

Supposedly, Race Marque Systems has a kit that made their Coupe run a 12.40 thru the quarter! Not sure the cost, but would guess it's less than above difference ... and you'd be about 8 car lengths ahead of a new Coupe!

The cost of the RMS kit is 7995 plus install, that includes the aftercooler.
