But I'm not sure what tires are stock on his car. In my 99 M coupe I start cold pressures right at the recommended 32 psi all around on the track. This is what Scott Galaba recommended and it has worked well for me. The do not exceed on my stock Dunlops is 51, so if you woudl start at 42 cold you'd get awfully close to that during a hard session.
