Driving the Subaru WRX makes you giggle uncontrollably, smile like a jackass, and annoy unsuspecting "sports cars" like Integras, Celicas, 325i's, etc. It's not "scary" fast, but "scary" fun for a $23k car.

But don't worry Rick, the Dakar Duck should be able to handle the Subaru. Now the Mini....that's another story.

Officially a non-street racer :)

Is the car that scary? :) j/k

I don't think any of us need to be afraid of a car/or a wagon. Specially when one does not street race. Heck I was thinking of getting a WRX wagon myself but decided to wait for a Mini Cooper S :)

Anyways, it's the driver and not the car right :)

While I love my M coupe (and Supra TT), my WRX Sport Wagon would emabarass more than a few Z3 and E46 owners. The M coupe's superior low end torque should be able to dispatch a WRX in an enthusiastic street "encounter."

I don't think you'd have to worry about a stock WRX. 0-60 times are in the mid to high 5's, versus low 5s for the Coupe.

Personally, I can't wait till I graduate senior year. The WRX is at the top of my list. As much as love BMWs, the WRX is too good of a perfomance bargain.
