You never want to plea guilty to a moving violation (particularly speeding). Despite driving school, I believe your insurance premium will go up. Not to mention, if you are prone to tickets, which is sounds like you are not, you may eventually have your license suspended for too many tickets. Go to court. The DA or Judge 9 times out of 10 will plea out the ticket to a lower violation. What do you have to lose? Worst case, you waste a couple of hours of time and end of being convicted...There really is only an upside in my opinion.
