If you take it to a body shop, I would highly recommend Wagonwork in Arlington/Alexandria, VA. The fixed piece will turn out better than new, but they're not cheap. I took my car there and it came back better than new.

Of course, that's a bit of a hike from Gaithersburg, though... I hope you get your car fixed to your satisfaction.
