i think it's rather nice actually. the power is there, but you have to be deliberate in accessing it. as a road car, the coupe is the most satisfying vehicle i own right now (still prefer the elise on the track, and the bikes are a whole other ballgame). compared to some of the guys i've met at the track over the last couple of years, my meager 'collection' is child's play. which is what it actually is, come to think of it ;)

and yes, with the drive-by-wire throttle changing the response is simply a matter of a software upgrade. i expect both dinan and jc will have something shortly, if they don't already.
