You guys are all pussies. I always shift at or slightly over the redline. And yes, even in reverse. It takes about a month to get used to the constant acceleration but when you do it's awesome. So far I've only had to replace the following:

Trunk Hatch - twice
Passenger door - twice
Rims - three times

I decided to stop repairing all my minor dents and dings after the 4th paint job. Oh yeah, everything that can be replaced in the car has been with better chromed parts. I have the shiniest most blinding M Coupe in California. I even replace my steering wheel with a chrome one!!! It's hot when I stay parked outside during the day, but I have racing gloves so it's okay. Chrome forever!!!

Yes, I shift at or above redline ALWAYS.
