I have run it with 18 disks on each side, but that was too loud for my taste. 12 was still too loud for me, and 6 seemed to be too much backpreasure, so I've kept it at 8 for a while. I intend to try 7 to see how that works out.

Of course, what I really need to do is buy a couple of hours of dyno time and test the range to see where I get the best numbers.
