I already saw you autoxing. dont you a z coupe have with an rd body kit and 19 inch rims(performance oriented right?) mustache and glasses too right. just wondering.

As for the money spent on my car, I have already bought the exhaust and would buy anything else that they make for the car performance wise, except there arent many people making things yet for an 01 m coupe. just body stuff because there isnt much of a difference. so guess what, I am kinda stuck.

as far as track experience i have only done hot lapping with another car club in another car.

what you need to do michael is instead of spouting off an insulting comment, just dont post.

from your no racing comments to your poor insults. dont you have anything better to say. Let me guess, you weigh about 120 lbs so hiding behind your monitor you feel that you can simply throw out whatever comes to your mind.

Thanks for the compliment. If I weighed 120lbs, I'd be a lot faster in the karts and solo II.

as for hiding behind the monitor, ask Karl, I don't. Except for the last few events, I can always be found at an AutoX - are you?

This is one of the reasons why I almost didn't by a bmw. My brother who drives an e36 m3 warned me about people like you on this page. thanks for your help, LOL

Well, there is the all chrome and no go crowd, and there are the serious ones. Smoked lenses on a BMW are of the chrome variety. But if you ask a question about something serious that actually gives performance on your car, then you will get better answers. And to put lenses like those on that excellent 01 M Coupe is heresy. Your money would be much better well spent on taking a DE at a track event instead. Since you are inside the car driving it more than outside looking at it, you'd benefit more by learning the car. It would be the gift that kept giving every time you are in it. The smoked lenses would only be seen by whomever is driving behind you.

And as for the comment about going 5+ mph over the limits, well, . . . . if you only spent your money on the lenses, you wouldn't have the better skills to be aware of what to do in an emergency. But if you have been racing or doing DE's for some time, you are much better able to handle yourself and the car. I am not condoning it, but you'd be better prepared for it. But no matter how much you know, it still scares the crap out of me NOT knowing the skills of the cell phone toting soccer moms in their SUV's swerving all over the road - or the rice boy who spent all his money on spoilers and looks, and was too cheap for any of the proper mods (like cutting his springs instead of buying properly made ones) and only knows how to go in a straight line. It is actually safer going 100+ on a track with others, than driving 35 on our streets!
