is that the power is all up top. this has the curious effect of making the bike accelerate harder the faster it goes, with constant throttle. the first few times the sensation is of it completely getting away from you. a lot of people love the rush, but it can bite you ;) v-twins are quite a bit more linear. it's a matter of personal preference, but i like the v's better...
