I have had my Dinan supercharger for several months now, and have had an increasingly frequent problem with cold starts. During the first 2-3 minutes after starting the car and driving it, the car surges and hesitates unless I get the revs well up beyond 30000rpm. (not an exaggeration - longer than the initial cold start problem these cars had). There is minimal low rpm power. Then magically, it corrects itself. This could be dangerous especially when pulling out into traffic. BMW says not to warmup the car at idle. This is not the fixable software problem from BMW's TSB - I've had the download as well as Dinan software reinstalled twice. Dinan says it shouldn't happen. Dealer says it is normal on these cars. I am not an idiot...the original BMW software fix worked for the most part prior to the supercharger, and the car did not do this after the SC was just installed. BMW first replaced the "stuck" idle valve, and now I am about to go back for the third time. Can you tell me, is this a necessary evil, a price to pay for the supercharger?!

Any suggestions? Do you have the same problem? Thanks,
