What year is your M3 and what is the price, milage and condition? In addition, what are the options on the car and do you have pictures? I have a friend who may be interested.

Having said that, I would think you should be able to sell a M3 with no problem through your local papers. I would look at price first - I think Edmunds.com and their TMV (true market value) is a realistic estimator of what you should expect ot get for your car. If you decide to sell your M Coupe though, I would go for a national audience. Try posting on Dupont (http://www2.dupontregistry.com/index2.asp). You could also try running ads in major metro areas like Chicago, LA, and San Fran. Using Ebay is tricky and is a hit or miss opportunity. It is great for very in demand cars like a new 2001 M3, but it seems the audience for other less in demand cars is just looking for a great deal. If you are leasing the car, then you could try swapalease.com. That is a very effective way of getting out of your lease. I have had much success there.

I hope this helps and let me know about the M3.

Chris
