I need to give up my Mcoupe, and am looking into the possibility of changing the lease over, my only concern is that the original owner is still responsible for the lease. I was wondering what the best way would be for me to somewhat 'guarantee' payments from somebody i may not even know. I was wondering anybody who may have done this before.
Also anybody interested, here is the stats:
00 BMW Mcoupe
imola red ext. / red/black interior
16 months left from a 36 month lease with 45k miles left (15kmiles/year)
monthly payment: $553.25 I think that is a pretty good/low payment
only transaction fee i need is a $450 acquisition fee the bank requires and maybe, depending on the transaction, my 1 month deposit is still there, so if the bank gives that back to me at the end, then i wont ask for it, and if the bank gives it back to you, then i will ask for it.
besides that the car is perfect, no problems at all, this i think would be a very nice way for somebody to get themselves into an Mcoupe.
I dont know if this is what i may want to do, but i may ask for either a 16 month payment up front (to the bank of course, not me), or maybe something to be put into an escrow account. Just something fair to cover my butt if somebody doesnt pay. This is just off the top of my head. But the bank does sign the car over completely to the new buyer, in other words the car is 100% of the buyers, just the original buyer is still held responsible for any payment issues if they happened, sucks. anyway anybody interested and if anybody has any ideas of how i can make this happen i would really appreciate it (email me if interested). Damn im gonna miss this car, o and i also need to SELL off my m5 and s500 if anybody wants any info on that.
ps i live in NJ
