What stickers can I get for my coupe then. I presume Type-R doesn't work with BMW's as the stickers are specially tuned to the Honda body style.
I also heard that adding a TT aerial adds torque.
Just like adding a "Type-R" sticker adds 15-20 HP on a Honda. Turning the radio off in an M Coupe retrieves about 10-20HP depending on how loud you had it. I also heard from import tuners that each additional ///M logo adds about 2HP each. I'll have to do some shopping.

...with the radio off? I never thought of that
So I'm driving home from an artery clogging dinner at the local Tommy Burgers. I'm halfway there when I see an E46 3-Series (Not M) pull up next to me at a light. We exchange glances. He revs. (PAUSE)
I know I shouldn't race in the streets. YES it's ghetto and unacceptable and unbecoming of a roundel owner. But, as all you guys know, we've been cursed with two uncontrollable testosterone producing mechanisms, testicles. How was I gonna say no? (RESUME)
I turn off ASC, AC, and radio. I roll my neck around to get comfortable. I rev. Green Light. Launch.
He doesn't even keep up with me. Off the line I was already half a length ahead. After the 2nd turn on this unsually twisty city road, I don't even see his lights. I get caught by another red light and stop. Shortly after he pulls up next to me. He starts rolling down his window, I start reaching for my bat, (precautionary reflex, hey this is LA). I roll my window down, he say "You got a supercharger in there?!"
I say "Nope, completely stock."
He says, "That's a 318 right?".
My jaw drops to the ///M floormat.
I say, "Nope, it's an M Coupe."
He says, "Oh, M3?"
My jaw stays on the ///M floormat.
I say, "Nope, it's a Z3 on steroids."
He says. "Oh, no wonder you smoked me."
We say goodbye (which, by the way, shows the great brotherhood of the roundel), and go our separate ways.
So here's my frightening discovery/question. Do most people, even roundel owners, not know of the legendary/magical/superb/soul that is THE M COUPE? I can't believe he thought I was a modified 318. Blech! I guess rarity can be a curse sometimes.
Jaw still on the ///M Floormat
