Also here. I find that if the car starts cool, it can usually maintain the temperature okay. But if the car bakes in the sun, if it's 80+ outside, it can take a very long time to cool the car off. It's worthless without recirculate as well -- the A/C only works remotely well with recirc on.

I'm sure a sunroof shield would help (keep meaning to go order one of those!)

Has anyone experienced any a/c cooling problems with their '99 M Coupes? I live in Dallas TX & have noticed that the a/c does not cool the car. The problem is more apparent when driving around town at lower speeds. On the highway, it will keep you cool but only if you have it set on the max settings. The car does have tinted windows.


I have a 99 2.8 coupe and live in NY area; I would say the ac is just about adequate and never gets ice cold even on full blast. Any other comments...?
