The problem with SSRs and autox use, at least for the Competition style, is they are not available in the stock width for the front wheels (as of three or four months ago when I looked into this). We have a 7.5" rim, while the Comps are available in 7" or 8" widths, despite the Tirerack ad claiming a 7.5" size.

Of course this might not matter if you're only doing non-SCCA autox events or driving schools.
