The peachtree chapter will not allow bike helmets at their events as they have a different design criteria. According to the insructors there, the bike helmet is a one-hit (and slide) design where SA rated helmets are rated to bounce against that roll cage several times.

FWIW, that's what they said. Check your local driving events out before making the investment either way.

please share helmet recommendations for the track.
