While I haven't dealt with the pitted rim issue yet, I've successfully had my missing chrome installed, my rear hatch PROPERLY fixed, my faded badging replaced, and got a dealership severely chewed out for being pricks to me. All of this stuff has been pushed through the ranks by either BMW NA themselves, with the kind help of Rob Russo in BMW customer service (800-831-1117 x7728), or the salesperson who sold me my car, Richard Hahn at East Bay BMW.

My only advice to you is to get in touch with someone at BWM that you can build a good relationship with, some person who will feel sympathy for you. If you get someone in the right places to work for your cause, you'd be surprised at how quickly things happen.

If all else fails, go on a negative PR spree. That will always turn 'em around ;)
