Couple questions...
1) What exactly caused you to almost lose it at turn 5 in that video? I did something similar to you on one of my laps...went into turn 5 a little too hard on the brakes with a tad too much steering input...back end got squirly.

I almost lost it going into 5 because I got on the brakes a touch too late and, because of that, I was forced to let the clutch out on my downshift to 2nd before the car was quite settled. Didn't make that mistake again ;) This is the first time I've run turn 5 and I found that its most certainly a tricky challenge!

2) What tires were you using? They were howling like a banshee through almost the whole video. My S-02s were relatively quiet, even when they began to slide (they are pretty worn).

Yeah, they are pretty loud aren't they? I'm running Toyo T1-S tires 235 in the front and 275 in the rear. I think that they scream so loud 'casue the sidewall height has been increased by stepping up a few tire sizes. Toyos are also a little softer than SO2s or the Michelin Pilot Sports. Boy, do they grip though! Next time, I won't go quite as wide. 235 front and 255 or 265 rear, I think.

Man, I want to get back up to TH soon! Awesome track! First I just need to find a new job. Doh!

I'll let y'all know next time I'm heading up and maybe we can increase the Coupe attendance at some of these events. I've never run the track with another M Coupe, so its about time!
