MTBE really isn't good stuff, you should be happy they're not using it anymore. If you want the best fuels, you should befriend the owners of some gas stations and get them to tell you what alcohol percentage they run. they lower the alcohol, the better the gas. I use BP (formerly Amoco) out here, as i've found people that use 6,7 or 8% alcohol levels. anything below ten percent is apparently decent, but cheap stations often go up to fifteen perect.

I usually fill up at Chevron, and it is 91 there, but the other night I went to a 76 and they still had 92. Anyone know what the deal is?

From one day I noticed our premium gas' octane rating became 91. We used to have 92, right? When did it change? Is it due to skyrocketing gas prices?
Thanx.
