I am doing a website for a body shop and we traded out services, since I am doing his site he built me a hood, the whole center section was cut out and hand laid and sculpted. They then molded in the cabon fiber scoop i provided them with. The scoop was treated with the smae blue pearl that is in my paint. Right now there is only one coat, he is going to do a second so its really tinted blue. The hood was designed to look like the AC hood off thier V8 roadster. While it was in there they also took the area for the euro plate out of my front bumper.
Oh it is actually fuctional too, it creates a ram air type effect, not routing air directly to the intake but it definately lowers the temp under the hood and therefore it lowers the intake temp making more power. Plus since the whole center of my hood is now carbon fiber and fiberglass instaed of steel it lighter, not by much but its still lighter.
