New rear speakers installed today (archive)

Just put a set of JL Audio XR525-CX speakers in my coupe. They sound great, even though I'm still using the stock amp. Install was not the easy "bolt on" application I had anticipated, I had to ream out the stock mounting holes to get the new spkrs screwed down. Oh well, such is life! Looking forward now to a new amp and sub (8" in stock loc.)I'm sure that will be as much an adventure as this was. My 6' body doesn't fit well into the rear hatch area, but hey! it was worth it.
