I plan on staying with 17" rims, and I wasnt aware that wider tires/rims could effect the car in that way(other then perhaps additional rotating mass). Thanks for your help and I will proceed to the experts!

The best I have heard was 235 on the front and 265 on the rear.

The thing about larger wheels and tires is that it can degrade the performance of the car because of your suspension tuning. There are guys on here that are very wise to these items. If I were you I'd be asking dp, Karl A, Ron Stygar, or Robert M. They could probably tell you alot.
