Another option to the above is to cut yourself a "wheel shield" the diameter of your wheels out of cardboard (or whatever) ... Put a couple small holes in the center so you can hold it with your fingers while spraying your tire with your favorite tire dressing. Keeps the stuff off your wheels! FYI
