Today my 19 yr old son and I rearranged the garage (whew!) and decided to finally install the braided steel brake lines on my MCpe. It turned out not to be too difficult, if somewhat messy, to do. While we were at it we decided to change the brake fluid to Super Blue. It occured to me then that I'd never changed brake fluid before! I was really wondering how to get all the old fluid out quickly but completely. After some head scratching and stalling, we remembered that we had an old plastic version of a "Top Sider" oil remover I use for my garden tractor. I found a clear plastic hose that fit snugly into the end of the suction line and onto the bleeder valve of the caliper. In no time at all, we had completely drained (sucked) all the fluid out of the system. Couldn't have been simpler! Now I've got braided steel brake lines, new Super Blue fluid, and a whole new tool for brake work. Cool... and a really nice summer afternoon with the kid......
