Curious anyone else have the left tail light crack (archive)

When I first bought the car, a bit later I noticed the left tail light lans had cracked. There was no indication it was bumped, shot, rock chip, nothing. It just cracked. It was replaced under warranty.

Now, over a year and a half and 40K miles on it, its cracked again. I took it to the dealer (my usual), and they wanted a BMW rep to look it over. Never got to to see the rep, but when he was told I race it, he denied the warranty on it due to "racing stress". Funny thing, though, the crack just happened, and I haven't been racing for a few months. Makes me wonder if there might be a structual problem with the car? Seeing as it has such a rigid body, this could cause it if there is stress somewhere where it shouldn't be. Or more so IF there is a problem with the body somewhere?

So, if there are more of you out there with this same problem, then it COULD be a major problem we would need BMW to seriously look into. If its just an isolated incident, then oh well. But no one will know unless we talk with each other.
