If you're planning on keeping the miles low on the '94 RS America, the depreciation should be virtually nil over the next 5 years. Only 450 RS America's were imported to the US, and there's even a '93 RS America in the Porsche Market Letter selling for over $80k (with only 38 miles!). Many of the RS cars were modified for track use, and subsequently beaten and abused in a loving way. The low mileage, "survivor" RS Americas will always have voracious Porsche collectors searching for them. Treat the RS well, and you won't lose much $$$ at trade-in time.
The 2001 M Coupe is destined to become a classic, IMO. However, the depreciation hit in the first 2 years is going to be at least 15-20% given the track record for the 99-00 M coupe. If the M coupe is going to a daily driver (i.e. 8-12k miles/year), the resale value will plummet much faster.
Both the Porsche and the M coupe are fantastic cars. I would choose one depending on my needs. If you're looking for a warranty-protected, daily driver, go for the M coupe. If you're looking at a long term, low mileage garage queen, I'd pick the RS America.
