Z3 3.0i Coupe Pricing... Please help!! (archive)

Hi everybody, I am planning on purchasing the 3.0i coupe within the next week... I am very excited as this will be my first car. I live in NJ, and I have already visited the dealer about 1 month ago... when I was there, they had
the 3.0 coupe with the extended leather option for 38,000. Is that a fair price? Carsdirect.com says 35k, but that seems too low.
I was wondering if anybody could give me some pricing tips... I know that prices for '01 models should go
down as '02 models come in... when exactly does that happen? And, considering that the coupe is very unpopular, how will that help me get a lower price? Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
