it could just be a build up of pad material on the rotor. That happens sometimes under continual hard braking. You can tell the difference in the feel. A warp is a steady pulsation, usually once per rev of the wheel. As you get slower it can have more impact and actually effect the smoothness of the stop. Having pad material build up tends to be more "ragged", less intense more uneven, and several pulses per wheel rev.
Warped rotors just get worse over time, you should always replace them, never have them turned. They'll just warp again only quicker. Pad shmutz will eventually wear off, tho it may take a couple of weeks. I know, I the the build up just about every time I come back from a lapping day at the track.....
