Just got back from Mid-Ohio ALMS Series race... (archive)

Got to see the V8 M3's in person and up close. The brakes we're absolutely huge, carbon fiber everything, they sounded wonderful, and they really do shoot big flames out the exhaust pipe when they let off the gas. They sounded SOOOO GOOOOD, so much different than the other V8's running. If you get a chance to go see these guys run, you should!! After the race, the techs (speaking german only) we're using fiber optic cameras inserted through the spark plug holes analyzing the internals of the engine.... MAN WAS IT ONE SWEET CAR!

Oh, and I also got to have a "casual" conversation with Boris Said after the race. He is one cool cat! I wanted to ask him why he went to jail, but decided not too... :-)
