Last week on wed. I picked up my M Coupe from the dealer. At that time the alarm I had ordered was not installed and to top things off they did a piss poor job cleaing the car up for delivery. They told me to bring the car in on friday so the alarm would be installed and they would detail it. When I dropped my car off on friday I told them not to bother detailing it cause it was going to rain that day.
When I picked up my car that day, I made the mistake of not inspecting it. I made the natural assumption that there is nothing they could of done to screw it up. Yesterday, when I was looking at my car I noticed a dent on the hood right above the right front wheel. Also, there is now a blue scuff mark right below the dent. To make matters worse my left rear rim is now all chipped and scratched all around. Some how I have this feeling that the fools at my dealer ran my car through a machine car wash that drags your car through.
Sorry for the long post but I am really pissed. What do you guys think I should do? What form of recourse do I have? Should I expect a new rim and fix the dent and scratch mark? Should I threaten them that I will give them a bad review for their performance when the BMW survey people call? Help!
