my two week old Coupe 3.0i had its "check engine" light come on twice, the second time staying on permanently. i took it to the dealer and they had to change the computer chip (not sure it is a chip or something else) that regulates the flow of gas to the engine. this caused the car to vibrate quite a lot when i was accelerating and generally feeling like it was going to choke to death at any second!

all fixed now, they just had to change a small part.
