i am in contact with them right now. i need to sell my m coupe and get a "family man's car". for me, that means a 330xi ---> with supercharger.

the biggest issue with the new dual vanos/drive by wire engines is the software. now, this is a matter of time since the audi tuner world had to contend with this and they cracked it. no big deal. but ESS has already done this and have kits for e36 and e46 3 series.

i don't really see forced induction as all that feasible with the new 11:1 compression e46M3/m coupe engine, but who knows: it might work. they've been able to do this for the honda s2000, so why not the new M motor.

anyway, it's not very good to fit a turbo onto an engine now designed for turbo work. you have the heat soak issues underneath the hood and the higher compression of a NA engine to contend with. for example, the difference between turbo and non-turbo porsche motors, which are very strong, tight tolerance engines is: 9.3:1 versus 11.3:1 compression ratio. now, there is a reason why that is, not to mention other things like rods, pistons and plumbing.
