It's my 4th Escort over the last 20 yrs. They seem to stay at the front of the "cat and mouse" technology race, offer very few false alarms and with the auto mute function it is not a nuisance. And the platinum finish matches the gauges in my '01 nicely.
The only thing it lacks is the V1's dirctional display.
