the other thing you have to love is the autosensitivity mode. kills lots of falses while maintaining full sensivitivity. pretty cool if you ask me, i'd rather not have falses than know where they're coming from (the valentine is notoriously ambitious :) although i could just be trying to justify purchasing something from bestbuy (who are admittidley the enemy)

You can turn off X band alarming, which is great for me, since I have never see California law enforcement use it anyhow. You can also customize the display, which is pretty cool. Auto mute is nice, and sensitivity is great. I regularly pick up CHP Ka and K band on the freeway from several miles away.
