I'm supposed to have my wheels painted monday (archive)

For those who have had their wheels repainted or replaced, what were the circumstances? And, is painting going to be as good as the original? My dealer said the painter was from another city, and scheduled me almost a month ahead of time so he would be here. Maybe he is from Spartanburg, I'm in Chapel Hill, NC.
