Went to Field's BMW in Orlando today... (archive)

They had 5 count'em, FIVE, '01 ///M Roadsters on the lot today. Two LSB, one TiSlvr, one Steel Gray, one Alpine White. Plus two '98 lease turn-ins, one of which was an Estoril Blue with only 10K miles on it. More ///M Roadsters than I have seen there total in the last year and a half that I've been frequenting that place. BTW, LSB looked really good on the roadster, much better than on the larger ///M3.

They also had a pre-owned '01 red convertible ///M3.

There was nary a coupe in sight. We asked a salesman what had happened to the two Z3 coupes they had sitting on the lot for so long and he admitted that they had been sold at auction because they couldn't move them. Could be because of the inexplicable color combination that someone chose...TiSlvr ext. with beige interior. Gag.
