I can extend my 99 warranty to 160000 km. I'm figuring it's a good bet. The only thing is, it prevents me upgrading my suspension, etc.

Anyone else have or planning to get the extended warranty?

Unless a car has a history of major problems, extended warranties are only good for the companies issuing the warranty. Will you really get $2600 worth of repairs during the warranty period?

Extended warranties are a bad insurance policy IMO.
