I have right at 2200 miles on an M Rdstr.
The other night I was just tooling along behind another car waiting for an opportunity to pass.
When I looked down, I was doing 55 mph @ 5500 rpm in second gear (still have 2000 rpm left in the power band).
Your car will continue to loosen up (I hope that mine gets looser still).
It's time to start running that puppy up towards the redline...
Don't get freaked out if you bump against the rev limiter. That's what it's there for.
