Has anyone else experienced this? I was coming to a stop with the car in second gear, applying the brakes. When I depressed the clutch there was a quick deceleration and the motor revved to ~2500 rpm, staying there for about thirty seconds. I tapped the accelerator without any results, and it finally just slowed down to a normal idle.

While it obviously is an infrequent problem, I sure don't like it!

PS The motor is totally stock. No chip, no cold-air intake, nothing!
