Was that Navid Kahangi in his silver E46M3?
If so, keep in mind that that car won SM at the SCCA Solo II Nationals last week. Navid has been around for a while. His co-driver actually on, but Navid himself would have been 2nd if not for a silly mistake. You've probably seen him before in his older Daytona Violet '95 E36 M3.
While the E46 M3 is a truly awesome car, don't give up hope entirely. A huge part of the sport is the driver where there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

My modified ///MRoadster got waxed BAD today at autocross.
For those who do not know my car, I have a 1999 ///MRoadster with a ground control suspension, Koni adjustable shocks, corner balanced, Jim Conforti Shark injector and cold air intake with Racing Dynamics adjustable sway bars, Dinan strut brace, and Borbit type "T" rims with "R" compound Kuhmos.
I won ASP in NASA autocross in my area last year and I will win it again this year. I locked the 2001 win up last weekend.
The GGC BMW CCA had an autocross today in Marina California. I was in the first run Group. I pulled down top time of the day in my run group. No one in the second run group even get close.
A guy in a new E46 with ground control on in the third run group not only waxed me for the best time of the day, but ALL four of his runs were faster then my best time! I was the second fastest driver with the fifth fastest time! The E46 is some sweet car! I was VERY impressed!
Anyone want to buy a used ///MRoadster?
