I think, the H&R are the so called 'best bang for the buck'. They are also very popular in Germany (hey they are made in Germany ;-)) and nearly everyone is happy with them. I first had the Eibach springs, but where not satisfied because Eibach did choose a 'komfort setup', and i wanted a more agressive setup. The H&R fullfill that from what i have heard and seen so far.
ACS did use high quality (Bilstein+eibach) and did test it for themself, and developed there own setup so you can not say bilstein is bilstein in this cirumstances. I think it is very good, but also expensive. But after the bad experineces with springs only. I wasn't 100% sure if the H&R would make such a difference, and i do not want such a large lowering (up to 40mm). The ACS is about 25-30mm. the result is, nearly no shaking in corners, or hood going up when accelarating or going down when braking. But it is also not as hard that you would jump over every bump. I think it is the ideal setup for my driving style. But i would recommend to drive a modified car, to fell/see how it really is. So did i (i live about 2h away from AC-Schnitzer, so it was no problem, i don't know how if this is possible in the US).
The aluminium spacers are also produced by ACS, and are a part of the dampers/springs. I don't know if they are available alone, i also don#t know the price. But from what i have seen so far it should be possible to install them without the rest. (Will take picture's and make a drawing, and will post it here tomorrow)
About the weight of the Eisenmann exhaust, i don't know. WIll check that up today, because i am also intrested (i will than give you exakt numbers). I don't hink it is much lighter, maybe it is heavier. but will update that later.
about the sound. hmm, i think it sounds somewhat similar to the supersprint. I don't have heard other exhaust on the 3,0i. I can only compare it to the soudns i have heard in different videos.
(will open a new topic when i post the infos)
