Look on Koni's web site, there are instructions there you can consult. If you have what I think you have-you will first remove the bump stop from inside the tube, probably pushed all the way to the top. Shine a light up the larger diameter tube and you will see two prongs. Those are to fit in the two indents on the upper face of the lower tube.

When you fully compress the shock and turn the outer tube you will feel the prongs connect with the indented notches. Look at the instructions. I can't remember which direction it is for the stiffer setting. The difficulty is that holding the shock down, fully compressed and turning was a task for me.

If you have installed the adjustable shocks on the front you already know how easy it is to adjust them. The stock setup for the rear is a real pain. But you can ask Koni to rebuild them so as to make them externally adjustable.

Now, if you are driving a coupe, making access to the adjustment valve is another issue altogether.
