Well, I just sold my 1990 911. It drove away, headed toward Canada, just a few hours ago.
To ease my mourning I was actually pondering the possibilities of upgrading the suspension on my new (to me) 2000 M Coupe. My car won't see the track anytime soon, so I was thinking--after following earlier threads on this--that I could just upgrade the shocks and leave everything else stock for now. I don't want to raise the car, so Bilstein's are out (because I don't want to upgrade springs as well, or, at least my wallet doesn't).
My question: would the basic Koni sport shocks be a good choice here? What should I expect vis-a-vis street ride harshness and improved handling? And how many hours of labor to install?
thanks in advance,
Sam
