is the instruction from GC (I try to explain from a picture)
1.slide the adjustable sleeves on the shock
2.next is the spring
3.then the aluminum hat (GC supplied)
4.then stock spacer (I have no idea what it is because I did not install it. I don't know if this is the source for the rattle on my car)
5.then GC washer.
6.then stock washer (I didn't install this nor found it)
7.then stock upper strut mount.
