Article is in the current issue of Bimmer Magazine I think -- you should still be available to find it at a Borders or Barnes and Noble I think. I do not think there is a factory sun shade, and I agree, cabin temp can get quite high.

Either way, M or 3.0i, I think you will be very, very pleased. And, you'l have a car that is more unique than your 911.

that article said the 3.0i is a great touring car, and the M a great sports car. If he's looking to a replace a 911, the "little things" that make the M what it is might mean it is a better replacement.

Well, truth be told, I'm leaning more towards touring as opposed to raw sports car. My gripe about the 911 was it lacked creature comforts for my daily commute. What I'm looking for is something with comfortable seats, good zip and handling, and a resonable AC/clutch/etc. I sit in stop and go traffic every day...not optimal for an older 911.

Where was this article? Online or print? Also, is it true that the moonroof doesn't have an inside cover (I'm going to drive some tomorrow)? Has anyone fabricated a cover for it? Seems like the sun beating down would drive you nuts (coupes without the moonroof are harder to find in SoCal).

Also, has anyone arranged to have the passenger airbag disabled?
