I got the Z8 brochure today :-) (archive)

I got the Z8 brochure today, but guess what?
My wife tried to install windows98 on the older pc that the scanner's on...but something went wrong...so now, I can't even boot the thing w/out a diskette! And of course, the scanner programs are all windows based, I can't do them from DOS. Therefore, no pics until I get that up and running again (seems I have to figure out how to back out the windows98, or install a version of DOS greater than 7.0). However...

Couple things that I can tell you I learned from the brochure:
- "revised production specifications for the Z8 and M5 engines are 394hp @6600rpm and 368 lb-ft of torque @ 3800rpm."
- Neon brake lights, front and rear turn signals, xenon headlamps and flowing side turn signals. {It has a gill like the M Roadster, but there's a neon yellow light on the horizontal that looks sharp.}
- still no exact 0-60 time--"well under 5 seconds".
- can choose between a sport and comfort "thottle mapping mode".
- standard run-flat performance tires 245/45R-18 front, 275/40R-18 rear (but then EVERYTHING is standard on this baby ;)
- body colored aluminum hardtop
- all aluminum spaceframe
- dual cupholders (can't forget those! Like anyone's going to get a cup of -anything- near mine.)
- DOHC 32-valve V-8, VANOS "steplessly" variable valve timing
- FULLY automatic lined soft-top
- steering-type: Rack & pinion
